When we took the decision to fully use our own solution for internal IT security everything fell into place. The password management ceased. We got single sign on to the support system, sales system and our own Citrix environment. Our computers are automatically locked to unauthorized persons when we remove the card to go on a break. The same card is used for entry to the building's main entrance, to the office, storage and server room.
The use of Net iD and smart cards gave us increased security, reduced administration and simplified daily work for our employees
