Setup of WLD - Workstation Lock Down Smart Card Shell
WLD enables a complete lockdown of Windows 7, Vista, XP or XPe environments and only allows for the environments to be unlocked via smart cards and certificates.
This solution may for instance be applied to shared workstations or workstations requiring the highest security. When users insert their smart card into the card reader the client verifies the certificate content of the card, establishes a secure tunnel to the server and asks the user to enter his pin code. When the card is removed the client environment locks down completely.
The package includes configuration and activation of WLD at the customer's site and the creation of a customized image that will be displayed when the client environment is locked down.
