Setup of Card Watch
Card Watch initiates a sequence of predetermined actions when a user inserts or removes his card from the card reader. Card Watch is most commonly used with shared work stations where the users have a common logon to the computer but an individual logon to applications.
When the smart card is removed, the user will be logged out from applications and the applications and processes will be closed down in the correct order, in case that the order is important. This is being made in a more flexible way than through the settings provided in the Microsoft OS's.
In the same way it is possible to start programs and processes in a predetermined sequence when the user inserts the smart card in the card reader.
The package includes configuration and activation of Card Watch at the customer's site.
