Net iD Card Portal
The online Net iD Card Portal simplifies administration of certificates, users and smart cards. The portal supports activation, unlocking and renewal of cards, change of security codes and more advanced certificate management in a web-based, platform-independent interface.
Net iD Card Portal unites the organization’s underlying infrastructure — certificate and catalog services, along with a database of smart cards issued — and thus facilitates daily administration of cards and certificates. Lost, blocked or forgotten cards are dealt with rapidly and simply in the portal. It is also easy to renew certificates that are about to expire or to revoke certificates.
Net iD Card Portal is readily adapted to different issue scenarios, from a solution in which the users themselves download their certificates and manage their smart cards to arrangements in which all administration in the company is handled centrally. Business organization, geographical dispersion and decisions on security policy and handling of certificates govern the technical solution — not the other way round.
