Net iD Transport
Net iD Transport offers a strong complement to organizations that have chosen Net iD and smart-card-based IT security. Through its automated and secure file management, Net iD Transport offers a range of advantages to the company or organization
Net iD Transport uses certificates on smart cards or file-based certificates for digital signature and encryption of files and documents. This services enables all information that is traced in one or more predefined catalogs to be automatically signed and/or encrypted. Net iD Transport then moves the information securely to a destination catalog.
With the Net iD Transport Portal web interface, the administrator or end user personally defines which information is to be checked for encryption and signature, by specifying which file catalog is used.
The combination of certificates and fully automated processes means that the end user does not need to have any in-depth knowledge of signature or encryption, and can still achieve good IT security.
Net iD Transport has full support for both file-based certificates and hard certificates in combination with smart cards.
