With Net iD Enterprise 6.0, we take a big step towards simplifying smart card login in standard Windows environments.
One major factor behind Net iD Enterprise’s success is the product’s great flexibility and the possibility to customize configurations to each organization’s unique system environment and needs. Until now, customization has been handled as client-specific configurations.
With Net iD Enterprise 6.0, we enable centralized handling via Group Policies (GPO). Now, administrators can easily apply a range of configurations globally, at the group level or for an individual account. Single sign-on (SSO), Net iD Card Watch, i.e. what will happen when a card is inserted or removed from the card reader, and smart card login requirements are all features that can be handled centrally. It is also possible to configure what information and images will be shown for the users in the login, password and certificate dialogues to offer intuitive guidance on choices to be made.
Net Enterprise 6.0 also gives new and improved user and administrator interfaces for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, and support for Google Chrome. The new release also offers full support for all SHA-2 algorithms (SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512). We also have verified support for EVRY Multi EID Card and Gemalto .NET v3.
Net iD Enterprise 6.0 will be released 1 March February. Customers with maintenance agreements get access to the new version at no extra cost. For more information, please don’t hesitate to contact our support manager, Anton Åslund, email@example.com
