Härryda and Kungsbacka the first to deploy mobile SITHS

Posted by Emmelie Hardenborg, filed under News.

The Mobile SITHS login solution allows healthcare and personal care staff to log into the Pascal national e-health system and other applications with their iPads, using their current SITHS cards.

Mobile SITHS was developed through a partnership between Svensk e-identitet and SecMaker, and it has been approved by both Nordic Medtest and Inera. The service comes as a package with everything needed for app developers, systems suppliers and care providers to be able to meet and create mobile workflows in healthcare and personal care together. It’s one of the first mobile login solution in the healthcare and personal care field that complies with the secure login requirements of the Swedish Data Inspection Board and the Patient Data Act.

Ambulance medical care and home help are examples of areas with a growing need for mobile tools that facilitate working closer to patients.

Easy to get started

Mobile SITHS is suitable for all private entities, municipalities and county councils that use SITHS cards. SecMaker and Svensk e-identitet have developed packages that include a license for Mobile SITHS, a compatible card reader for the mobile unit and a free app. We are offering a complete, managed solution of mobile SITHS in partnership with Atea.

Härryda and Kungsbacka municipalities were the first to use mobile SITHS to log in to Pascal on the iPad.
