Consulting company Grandezza has developed a cost-benefit analysis for mobile workflows. This cost-benefit analysis showed that if Landskrona City could introduce mobile solutions for the municipality’s 60 nurses, they would see a net profit of between SEK 2.5 and 7.5 million.
The exact amount of the savings would depend on how well implementation goes, i.e. the success of the implementation project and related adaptations to the organization. What the analysis shows are the absolutely amazing effects on controllable time that mobile working can yield. Controllable time in this case includes time for documentation, set-up time, etc. The analysis also highlights quality and the appeal for this employer, which has gone further in support of its nurses than other organizations.
