Certified Smart card Security Expert

Certified Smart Card Security Expert (CSSE) is a hands-on training course in practical integration of PKI and smart cards. The course is aimed at programmers and other technical experts employed at our integration, technology, and certificate authority partner companies who will be responsible for smart card and PKI projects.

CSSE provides hands-on training in the Net iD product family, architecture, and the best ways to install and configure an optimal smart card solution in the Windows environment. Participants will also learn about the most suitable architecture choices for different situations.

Net iD Certified Smart Card Security Expert is divided into two different sessions: the first day consists of a basic CA course for participants who need basic training in Microsoft CA. The second course, directly following the first, is a three-day certification course in CSSE Net iD.

Course contents:

  • Installation and configuration of Net iD Enterprise and Net iD Portal.
  • Net iD and smart cards in the Citrix environment
  • Net iD with thin clients
  • Net iD with session roaming, SSO (single sign-on) and other features
  • Net iD for SITHS (smart cards for municipal and county administrations)
  • SecMaker Start-Up Packages
  • Different types of smart cards and card readers
