The case

Let say you work in a helpdesk and wants to identify a person talking to you over the phone. Maybe you recognize the voice of the person calling you but you can’t be sure. Probably you do not have access to previosly collected answers to questions like “what is your mothers maiden name?”. Then what to do?

This can be solved by using Net iD Access. You will need:

– The users you what to identify must be part of a service that the helpdesk also are a part of
– The users have smart cards and card readers for their iPhones/iPads
– The helpdesk have access to a specific webapplication from where challenges can be pushed to the callers device
